NU vs V-Tech
Ok, this weekend is NU's 1st big game of the year. Can Lee handle the crazy atmosphere? Will V-Tech and Taylor run all over us? Can our defense stop them? Will we control the ball?
What are the keys to the game? What are you predictions?
I am going with an NU win. The only reason I say this is because when I first saw the line at -5 for V-Tech I LOVED VT. When I love a game I usually lose.
We'll go with:
NU 27
V-Tech 24

Pats do it again.....
The New England Patriots find a way to win again. The Bills had the game completely wrapped up until a HUGE fumble on a KO return set up the final touchdown. Brady is back to his usual self and finds a way to win.
I personally wanted to throw up as I can't stand the Pats.

NU Hoops....
So not only does Niemann go down but now McCray is out as well for awhile. Hopefully they can both get healthy and get NU hoops going.
Husker Football
How many wins will NU get this year? Can NU go to V-Tech and pull off the win? I gotta say "no" at this time. I like what I have seen so far but I think the inexperience of Lee will come costly in his first road game of the year.
Weekend of sports!
What a crazy week of sports it has been this past weekend. The NFL is up and running and we have some early surprises already.
1) San Fran goes into Arizona and beats the Cardinals. Were the Cards a one hit wonder? Is Kurt Warner too old to run this team?
2) Jay Cutler throws 4 INT's!! Bears not only lose star linebacker Brian Urlacher but Jay Cutler makes more passes to the Packers then he does the Bears. New quarterback, same results.
3) Sanchez in his first NFL starts leads the Jets to a big victory.
4) Saints offense looks dominant again, defense may need some work.
5) Lions, well they are still the Lions.
6) Brett Favre is back and leads the Vikes to a win in his first start with the team.
Many other story lines happened, share your thoughts.
In College Football the big games of the week were USC coming back late to beat Ohio State. The "cream of the crop" in the Big 10 didn't help the conference with this loss.
Michigan beats Notre Dame on a great finish. Lou Holtz you still think N.D. is going to the BCS Championship Game?
In tennis Serena Williams completely loses her composure and makes an A$$ of herself on the court. She should be punished for this and should be punished BIG!
